Assembly of complementary elements according to Claim 1, of the main patent, for producing separating partitions, exhibition panels and the like, comprising a series of detachable pillars (posts) capable of supporting independent vertical panels. In combination with lateral uprights 7a, the present assembly comprises a series of other sections 28a, 28b which are also of U-shaped cross-section and which are capable of being fitted onto the horizontal, upper and lower, edges of the panels to be fixed in place. Moreover, each of the lateral uprights 7a is provided, at each end, with a horizontal tab 29a or 29b intended to be solidly connected to the respective end of the section 28a or 28b fitted onto the corresponding edge of the same panel and this is achieved by way of complementary assembly means.
