The liquid propellant agent and a determined measured quantity of surface-active substance are mixed together before, during or after being allowed to enter the combustion chamber, and the mixture is stirred and brought to a foam state before or inside the combustion chamber, so that, depending on the mixing ratio and/or the degree of stirring, a precisely defined total foam surface is formed, consisting of bubbles of small average size.
