The mechanism includes a conencting gear (B1) engaged between a fixed gear (A) and a second connecting gear (C1). Both connecting gears are supported on axes (01, 02) on a primary transmission plate (P1). The second connecting gear cooperates, via an integral extended gear portion (D1), with a third gear (E1). The third gear engages an internal-face tooth run of an external gear (E2) mounted freely the same axis (O) as the fixed gear. A further planetary mechanism supported on a secondary transmission plate may alternatively be connected between the fixed and second connecting gears.
