A strong carton contains a TV set and is used for transportation between factory and customer via distribution and retail operations. The carton has a sealed circular transparent window in the front to enable the screen to be viewed. During transportion a flap covers the window. 2 cutouts at the front permit operation of the on-off switch and the remote control. At the rear of the box is provision for connection to the mains. A small box shaped compartment is accessed via a cutout. The compartment holds the TV set's plug in such a way that an external plug with fork connectors can be pushed onto its pins. Provision is also made for connection of an antenna.
