The shuttering includes an internal piece (1) in the form of an elongate quadrilateral tube, of cross-section equal to that of the post to be cast. This piece is formed form a single folded blank. A similarly-formed external piece (6) surrounds the internal piece. The external piece has a larger quadrilateral cross-section, and surrounds the internal piece such that the corners of the latter touch the inner faces of the former. Four rigid triangular-section pieces (7), e.g. of polystyrene, fit between the two tubular pieces to define a rigid structure with a rhombic-section central opening. ADVANTAGE - Simple formation and compact flat storage of main components.
