The connector consists of a sleeve (01) which is fitted over the plant training pole (04) to be vertically slidable up and down. A vertical tongue (03) is cut out of the sleeve or attached to its lower end to form an elastic biassing member. This member retains a spring component (06,07) permanently against the sleeve. The spring has a large-diameter, flexible winding to surround a plant stem without restriction or damage. ADVANTAGE - Simple height adjustment to correspond to plant growth. (5pp Dwg.No.5/6)
