The subject of the present invention is a wind stop for leaves of shutters. The wind stop according to the present invention is essentially characterised in that it includes a blocking means secured to the hinge pin 1 on which there is articulated a hinge plate 2 of a shutter leaf and at least one element secured to the leaf intended to interact with the means for blocking during the rotation of the said leaf and to become blocked with respect to the latter in the open position, and in that the interaction of the element secured to the leaf with the means for blocking during the rotation of the said leaf creates a relative movement between the said element secured to the leaf and the blocking means.
