INTER-PROGRAM LINKAGE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR BANK SWITCHING MEMORY SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To realize the program linkage control between different bank memory spaces by securing the services via a linkage control program to switch the bank memory spaces and to perform the program call control in response to the call requests received from each caller program. CONSTITUTION:A linkage control program 17 is added into a common memory space 13. Then the control is once delivered to the program 17 when one of the programs 14 and 15 of the bank memory spaces 11 and 12 under execution calls a program out of another bank memory space 10. Thus the program 17 produces an instruction in place of the caller programs 14 and 15 to switch the present bank memory space to another one which includes a program 16 of the called side. Then the program 17 delivers the control to the program 16 after switching the bank memory spaces. In such a way, the linkage control is carried out between the programs belonging to the different bank memory spaces.
