TRANSFER OF FUNCTIONAL HUMAN IMMUNE SYSTEM TO MOUSE OF SEVERE COMBINED IMMUNODEFICIENCY

PURPOSE: To make it possible to continuously supply the malignant cells of the immune system of a donor by introducing the non-malignant cells of the immune system of the donor into a donee animal of the immunodefficiency of the kind different from the donor and raising this animal. CONSTITUTION: The donee animal which is heavily insufficient of the immune system or lacks in the function of the immune system is injected with the cells of the donor animal of the systems of the myelocytes, red cells or lymphocytes capable of developing the immune function of the donor animal and is raised, by which the immune system of the donor animal is created within the living body of the donee animal of the kind different from the donor animal. The non-malignant immune system cells of the donor animal are injected to the donee animal of the different kind and the survival of this donee animal is maintained for about 8 weeks or above, by which the continued supply of the malignant cells of the immune of the donor is made possible.
