摘要

PURPOSE:To enable execution of analysis in a solid state while maintaining the precision in weighing by a method wherein a diluted sample prepared by mixing starch in a solid sample to be analyzed is inserted into a flameless atomization furnace. CONSTITUTION:A solid sample to be analyzed is weighed precisely in a quantity enabling maintenance of the precision in weighing. Besides, the quantity of refined starch being necessary for attaining a prescribed dilution rate matched with a weighed value of said sample is measured, and these are put in the same mortar, crushed and mixed with each other. Dilution at the level of a solid state is conducted in this way, and thereby an error in weighing can be lessened. The sample thus prepared is weighed precisely, accommodated in a graphite board and inserted into an atomization furnace. When the temperature of the atomization furnace is increased to an atomization temperature in this state, the starch is pyrolyzed in this process and a reducing element is produced. By reducing the metallic element contained in the solid sample, accordingly, the objective element is atomized without fail.
