PURPOSE: To effectively use a SZ wire stranding method by stranding plural single-wires in the alternating stranding direction, and holding the stranded wire with a shielding metal sleeve made of metal tape, which is arranged just over an external wire material layer and of which joint part is welded, at the stranding position. CONSTITUTION: Plural single-wires 1 are drawn from a wire storage unit 2, and led into a wire stranding device 3. This device is formed of a hole disk to be rotated, of which rotating direction is alternately changed with a constant interval, and a stranded wire nipple continued to the hole disc. A stranded wire bundle 4 flowed from the wire stranding device 3 is fixed by a pressurizing roller 5 so as to prevent the generation of looseness of the SZ stranded wire. A conducting wire 15 formed of plural single-wires is led into a coating fitting device 16, and a metal tape 18 is drawn from a tape storage unit 17, and the conducting wire 15, which is flowed into the device 16, is formed into a cylindrical tube. This method is an effective working process for manufacturing SZ stranded cable itself.
