ACOUSTIC AUXILIARY DEVICE IN PUBLIC HALL FOR HIGHLY ACCURATE SOUND IMAGE LOCALIZATION

PURPOSE:To obtain excellent acoustic effect by listening to both sound collected with a microphone arranged on a stage center and live sound arriving from a stage by means of an earphone arranged in a guest room. CONSTITUTION:A dummy head 3 is positioned on the stage center, and microphones 1 and 2 are arranged on the right and left sides of the lower part of a side surface. Further, the sound collective signals of the right and left microphones 1 and 2 are respectively amplification-regulated by amplifiers 4 and 5, and sent to earphones 13 and 14 as binaural signal outputs. In such a case, by using a signal mixer 8 which makes a sound image distribution angle listened to by sound arriving time regulating signal delay devices 6 and 7 and the earphone side conform to the sound image distribution width of the stage from the view point of an audience seat, an echo can be prevented and articulation can be improved. Thus, the extremely excellent acoustic effect can be obtained.
