IMIDAZOLE-DERIVED DYE SUPERIOR IN SPECTRAL ABSORPTION CHARACTERISTICS AND THE LIKE

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a cyan dye good in hue, high in molar absorption coefficient, and good in heat fastness by using a specified imidazole-derived dye for a color image forming dye. CONSTITUTION:The imidazole dye to the used for the color image forming dye is represented by formula In in which each of R1, and R2 is H or alkyl or each may combine with each other to form a 5- or 6-membered ring; each of R3-R6 is H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, or acylamino; each of R7 and R8 is a univalent organic group; m is an integer of 0-5; n is an integer of 0-4; and when m and n is =2, each of plural R7 and R8 may be same or different; and R9 is alkyl, thus permitting the obtained cyan dye to be superior in hue, high in molar absorption coefficient, and good in heat fastness by using the imidazole dye for the color image forming dye.
