PURPOSE: To maintain signal integrity and reliability and to minimize the signal processing load by storing a quadrature base band component and correcting a clock phase and a carrier phase of a base band sample based on an estimated phase error/carrier phase error respectively. CONSTITUTION: A reception signal from an antenna 32 is converted into an intermediate frequency (IF) signal by a mixer 36 via a transmission reception changeover device 33, a BPF 34, and a low noise amplifier 35, the IF signal is filtered by an IF processing circuit 37, mixed with a base band frequency signal at a quadrature mixer 38, and I and Q phase signals of the two quadrature base band components are outputted to a base band signal processing circuit 31. The signals I, Q are filtered in the circuit 31 digitally after low-pass filter processing. The result is stored in delay buffers 51, 54 at a prescribed signal level and the clock phase and the carrier phase are corrected based on the phase/carrier phase error estimated by the estimate devices 52, 55. Output signals I, Q are transmitted via a modulator 39, a power amplifier 42, a changeover device 33 and the antenna 32.
