DETECTING SYSTEM FOR DIFFERENCE OF RETRIEVING RESULTS IN INTERACTIVE INFORMATION RETRIEVAL

PURPOSE:To automatically show the most featuring content item by detecting the featuring degree of the contents item of the noted retrieving result among all retrieving results. CONSTITUTION:A content item extracting process part 3 which produces a list of content items, and a difference detecting process part 4 which checks the list are provided. Then the content items are checked for other retrieving results in case the corresponding retrieving result does not contain the content item of a noted retrieving result. Then the content item that is originally contained in the noted retrieving result is defined as the most featuring one and the high priority is given to the item. Otherwise the lower priorities are given to the retrieving results containing the due content items in the order of smaller numbers of items. In addition, the content item that is not contained in the noted retrieving result and contained the corresponding retrieving result is also checked. Finally these content items are arranged and shown to a user in the order of higher priorities. Thus the features of the noted retrieving result can be easily pointed.
