PURPOSE:To obtain a number of output channels with less number of components, by using a comparator in time division and enabling to connect an arbitrary number of comparison registers to one set of counter and comparator. CONSTITUTION:A reference clock 4-1 produced from a reference clock generating circuit 3-2 is counted at an up-counter 3-1 and outputted to a comparator 3-5. On the other hand, data which designate the rectanguar wave duty and frequency by program are respectively stored in comparison registers 3-3 and 3-4, the output of which is outputted with a multiplexer 3-18 in time division and the coincidence with the output of the up-counter 3-1 is outptted from a comparator 3-5. A prescribed rectangular wave output is obtained at the output of RS-SS 3-8 inverted with the output from this coincidence signal.
