PURPOSE: To make a combustion reaction efficient by the bursting of microspheres by misting a specified hydrocarbon into a cold environment to form frozen oil pellets and spraying the plasma of a catalystic metal on the pellets to obtain the microspheres. CONSTITUTION: Kerosine, light fuel oil, etc., are passed through a misting valve and sent to a refrigerated zone to form plural small frozen oil pellets. Subsequently, the plasma of a metallic catalyst of platinum, palladium, lithium, etc., is sprayed on the pellets to obtain a metal-coated microspheres. The microspheres are collected and sent to a hydrocarbon fuel combustion chamber along with the hydrocarbon fuel. Consequently, the combustion reaction of the hydrocarbon is enhanced under the influence of the many catalyst broken pieces generated by the bursting of the microspheres. Accordingly, the energy release is maximized, and the by-products are decreased.
