PURPOSE:To manufacture the Fe-base crystalline alloy having excellent magnetic properties and thermal stability by subjecting an amorphous Fe-base alloy having specified compsn. to crystallization heat treatment and transforming a part thereof into a metastable bcc crystal phase. CONSTITUTION:An alloy having the compsn. expressed by Fe100-X-Y-ZCrXMaYMbZ(in the formula, Ma denotes one or more kinds among Si, Ge and Sn, Mb denotes one or more kinds among B, C and P and, by atom, X=0.5 to 8%, Y=5 to 18% and Z=3 to 20%) and in which a part of Fe can be substituted by one or more kinds among Nb, Hf, Ta, Mo, W and Ti in the range of =6 atom% or can be substituted by one or more kinds among =5% Ni =5% Mn and =3% Co is transformed into an amorphous alloy by the rapid cooling of the molten metal. The alloy is heated in the temp. range of the crystallization temp. or above of a metastable bcc phase to the precipitation temp. or below of an intermetallic compound, by which the Fe-base crystalline alloy constituted of =50 vol.% amorphous substance and the balance metastable bcc phase crystalline substance and having excellent magnetic properties, particularly that in the M Hz area and excellent thermal stability can be manufactured.
