PURPOSE:To provide a stable shaft sealing water supply by a method wherein a plurality of shaft sealing water supply systems are formed between a water supply pump and a condenser and the shaft sealing water supply systems are selected according to an operating state of a plant. CONSTITUTION:A first sealing water supply pipe 21 having a high pressure shaft sealing water wide valve 27 and a shaft sealing water control valve 22 is arranged between a condensed water booster pump 5 and a grand part of a water supply pump 9. A second shaft sealing water supply pipe 29 having a low pressure shaft sealing water wide valve 28 is arranged between a high pressure shaft sealing water wide valve 27 and a shaft sealing water control valve 22 and between a condensing pump 2 and a condensing processor 3. In an operating region more than a flow rate Q1, the low pressure shaft sealing water wide valve 28 is fully closed and a high pressure shaft sealing water wide valve 27 is opened. In turn, in a region less than a flow rate of Q1, the wide valve 28 is opened and the wide valve 27 is fully closed. With such a configuration, it is always possible to provide a stable shaft sealing water and to attain an energy saving.
