PURPOSE: To economically separate a component having intermediate permeability by passing a gaseous mixture through the inlet space of a permeator, removing the component having the intermediate permeability from the balance from the permeator and injecting the gaseous stream into the production space of the permeator. The CO is, thereupon, mixed with the H2 from the first permeation and is supplied as the H2 and CO mixture via a conduit 7 under middle pressure.
