WATER WHEEL OPERATION METHOD AT RIVER CONTAINING EARTH AND SAND

PURPOSE:To realize the life extension of parts materials at a water wheel water flow passage, by detecting the density of the earth and sand of the water of a river passing the water wheel, and conducting operation by lowering the output of the water wheel in the case of its detected value having surpassed a regulated value. CONSTITUTION:The water of a river passing a water wheel is sampled from a water pressure iron pipe 1, the water wheel 2 or a water discharge passage 3, and the density of earth and sand is measured by means of an earth and sand density meter 7. In the case of its detected value being less than a regulated value, the operation of a normal output is conducted. Also, in the case of the detected value having surpassed the regulated value, the operation is conducted by lowering the flowing speed of the water of the river passing the water wheel and lowering the output of the water wheel. Thus, since the operation condition of the water wheel can be controlled, the life extension of parts materials at a water wheel water flow passage can be realized.
