PURPOSE:To save both the printing time and the printing forms by printing the page information equal to plural pages of the original information on a single sheet of printing form in a simple form when the rough print result is obtained. CONSTITUTION:When the rough print result is desired at first when the original information produced by a host computer is experimentally printed, the original information is turned into the simple page information and the page information equal to plural pages are printed on a single sheet of printing form. For instance, the normal print results 201 - 204 (4 pages) shown in a figure (a) are turned into the simple forms (201' - 204') and printed 205 on a single page of the printing form as shown in a figure (b). In this case, the number of pages to be printed on a single printing form can be optionally decided and also set with an instruction of a host device. As a result, both the printing time and the printing forms can be saved.
