PURPOSE:To prevent adhesion of stripped cover to cutter by releasing the stripped member under a state where the coating is separated from the core wire and dropping the released member. CONSTITUTION:A covered wire W and a cut wire Wa are cut by means of cutters 23, 24 then rollers 16, 17 are rotate reversely to strip the cover Ca at the tip of the wire W halfway, thereafter the rollers 16, 17 are rotated forward to strip the cover Ca at the rear end of the cut wire Wa halfway.
