PURPOSE:To conserve a cinerary urn for a long period by applying a photograph of a dead person and a sheet on which at least the name of the dead person is described, onto the outer side surface of the cinerary urn and applying a transparent and non-airpermeable sheet onto the above-described photograph and sheet and sealing the both sheets and covering the whole by a transparent and thermally contractible synthetic resin sheet. CONSTITUTION:The back surfaces of a photograph 11 of a dead person and a sheet 12 on which posthumous name is described are applied with an adhesive properly and attached onto the side surface of a cinerary run 10, and transparent non- airpermeable sheets 13 and 14 are applied. The peripheries of the non-airpermeable sheets 13 and 14 are applied with an adhesive made of synthetic resin, and the photograph 11 and the sheet are perfectly sealed. The cinerary urn 10 is applied with a cover 15, and the whole is covered nearly perfectly by a thermally contractible synthetic resin sheet 16, and the whole is contracted by applying hot water or stream in the enclosed state from the surface. The photograph 11 and the sheet 12 on which the posthumous name is described can be enveloped in double form, and the intrusion of water into the cinerary urn 10 is prevented, and since the cover 15 can be held, the cinerary urn 10 can be held without accommodating into a wooden box.
