DISTRIBUTION STATE DETECTOR FOR UNPOLISHED RICE SCREENING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To improve reliability by detecting a distribution state in two-dimensional directions with the resolving power with which a detecting means of an optical system can detect one grain of unpolished rice or unhulled rice. CONSTITUTION:The detecting means S of the optical system detects the distribution state in the two-dimensional directions with the resolving power with which said means can detect one grain of the unhulled. Rice said means is mounted by using a bracket to the upper part of a 1st partition plate and consists of an image pickup section 18 which picks up images across the two-dimensional directions and an image processing section 19 which detects the distribution. The image pickup section 19 is constituted by using a color image sensor which outputs three primary color information R, G, B as color information and brightness information Y. The image processing section 19 has a quantization means which quantizes the brightness information Y, a memory means which stores the information Y, an arithmetic means, etc. The distribution state is surely detected in this way.
