METHOD OF SETTING UP NET FOR TRANSMISSION LINE STRINGING WORK AND NET USED THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To prevent an accident by using an aramid fiber for vertical and horizontal ropes constituting meshes and glass fiber reinforced plastic for a rope connector respectively in stringing transmission lines between adjacent steel towers. CONSTITUTION:Aramid fiber spread ropes 4 are suspended to bus ropes 2 with fiberglass reinforced plastic(FRP) connectors 5 arranged at an interval of 15m each, and connected to drawing ropes 3. Spread ropes 4 are disposed in tension to the bus ropes 2 by rolling up the drawing ropes 3 with a one-way steel tower A(C). To each rear end of the spread ropes 4 aramid fiber vertical ropes 6 are connected, which are suspended to the bus ropes 2 with FRP connectors 5 fixed at an interval of 2m each. Between each connector 5 at the same position as the vertical ropes 6 disposed in an array aramid fiber horizontal ropes 7 are latched to constitute a net section 8 by the vertical rope 6 and horizontal rope 7. By drawing the spread ropes 4 on the steel tower A(C) side at the same time, net sections 8 are spread under the space for prearranged cable extension.
