COLLET CHUCK OF HIGH SPEED OPERATION AUTOMATIC LATHE FOR DEFORMED LONG BAR AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY SUPPLYING AND MACHINING DEFORMED LONG BAR

摘要

PURPOSE:To finish the machining of a deformed bar in a similar way for a round bar by making it possible to insert a loose chuck having a deformed hole and integral with a stopper in a round hole in the outer chuck of a collet chuck. CONSTITUTION:A round hole 11 toward in a longitudinal direction is provided inside the outer chuck 10 of a lathe and one of a pair of stoppers 20 is provided at a top end side, and also a loose chuck 30 having a deformed hole 31 toward in a longitudinal direction and the other stopper 22 at an outer cicumference side engaging with said stopper 21 is provided and freely pierced in the round hole 11 of said outer chuck 10. In this construction, when the outer chuck 10 is fastened, a work fitted in the deformed hole is fastened, when the outer chuck 10 is loosened, the loose chuck 30 is slipped due to the rotation of the outer chuck 10 and also the engagement of the stopper is released.
