ADAPTER AUTOMATICALLY SELECTING TELEPHONE COMPANY WHICH OFFERS LESS EXPENSIVE CHARGE

PURPOSE:To save expenses in an NCC(class 1 telecommunication enterprise) by limiting the service areas of three companies of the NCC, and evading the change of data even in a case where the service area is expanded or POI(Point of Interface:mutual connection point with the NTT) is increased. CONSTITUTION:The 95% of a speech charge can be covered with the 16% pf 80 stations out of around 500 main trunk exchanges in the service area. Therefore, the data to be stored is fixed, and the amount of saving of the expenses in an enterprise is a negligible one even when the use of a trunk exchange is handled by the NTT, not by the NCC. Therefore, the switching of the data with respect to the allocation of an area code stored in the area code storage part 6 of an adapter 2 and the data of the area code even corresponding to the expansion of the service area and the increment of the POI are not performed. In such a way, merit for a use can sufficiently be secured by preparing the storage of the storage part 6 at minimum data quantity. Also, the expenses can be saved remarkably at the NCC, and reduction of cost can be realized in the manufacturing of the adapter.
