VISUALIZING AND RECORDING APPARATUS UNDER HIGH TEMPERATURE AND HIGH PRESSURE CONDITION

PURPOSE:To observe and record the state of the substance under a high temp. and high pressure environment without opening a container by a method wherein the light from a light source part is allowed to be incident on a high temp. and high pressure container through the incident window thereof and the reflected light from the substance in said container is observed and stored. CONSTITUTION:When the intensive light emitted from a light source part A is sent to a high temp. and high pressure container part B through an optical fiber 11, the quantity of light necessary for visualization is stably secured for a long time by forming a light guide 12 from heat-resistant glass or silica. Further, the light incident window 2 and light emitting window 3 of the container part B are constituted of the material quality of heat-resistant and high strength transparent sapphire and ultraprecise polishing generating no phase difference in a light path is applied to both end surfaces thereof. By this method, the blur or double image of the image of a substance to be observed is eliminated, and sharp observation and a sharp image are obtained even in the case of high magnification. Further, visual enlarged observa tion by an optical microscope 13 having a long focus lens is made possible and long- time continuous recording is made possible by a CCD color camera 14, a color tele vision monitor 16 and a video tape recorder 17.
