REUTILIZING METHOD OF MIXED THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL RECOVERED FROM INDUSTRIAL WASTE AND/OR SOLID MUNICIPAL WASTE

PURPOSE: To reutilize plastic in solid urban waste by grinding and drying the plastic without applying pretreatment thereto and subsequently blending the ground plastic with other material in a silo and heating the resulting mixture under vacuum to form a molten lump. CONSTITUTION: A plastic material recovered from industrial waste and solid urban waste and directly obtained from an urban waste refuse disposal site without being subjected to preparatory operation is finely ground without being subjected to preparatory operation such as washing or the like to be dried. The dried fine powder is blended with other material in a silo and the resulting mixture is melted pref. at low temp. under a vacuum condition to be thermally molded and a molten lump is cooled in a mold. The swollen and solidified molten lump block is a sponge like tile-shaped article and fitted to the building industry or other various fields such as the agricultural or floricultural field. If the compounding amt. of plastic is increased, a strong and dense tile can be produced.
