DROP-IN-WATER CONFIRMING DEVICE FOR SMALL-SIZED PROPULSION VESSEL

PURPOSE:To prevent the unnecessary stop of an engine and to immediately stop the engine when a driver drops into water by installing the engagement part of a run yard switch onto a wrist and installing a connecting means in demountable ways onto an engine stop switch. CONSTITUTION:During the navigation of a vessel body 1, a driver 11 grips a grip part of a steering handle 4, and an engagement part 52 is engaged with a hand 11a, and a connecting means 51 at the other edge part of a run yard switch 5 is connected with an engine stop switch 6 in the vicinity of the grip part, and a rope 50 is constituted short. Therefore, even if the steering handle 4 is operated, or the driver 11 performs the movement for changing attitude, the state in which the hand 11a grips the steering handle 4 is kept, and the unnecessary operation for the engine stop switch 6 is prevented. Further, when the driver 11 drops into water, the hand 11a is separated from the grip part, but a pulling force in the lateral direction acts onto the connecting means 51 through the rope 50, and the engine stop switch 6 can be operated surely free from the destruction of the connection part.
