LOCAL COMMUNICATION BUS SYSTEM HAVING SERIES OF MUTUALLY CONNECTED DEVICE AND DEVICE BUS AND SERIES OF SIGNAL CONNECTIING SECTION AND DEVICE FOR SUCH SYSTEM AND SWITCHBOX

PURPOSE: To establish and specify a signal route between a sending device and a destination device by storing information indicating other devices mutually connected to each device and a plug pair mutually connecting other devices by an inquirable state. CONSTITUTION: The system has three devices 20, 22, 24 and a connection part 30 is a series control bus for a comparatively low capacity control signal expressed like a message signal. Each of the devices 20, 22, 24 is provided with a mutual connection table means for storing information indicating other devices mutually connected to the device itself and a plug pair mutually connecting other devices by an inquirable state. A sending device 20, a switch box device 24 and a sending device 26 are controlled by generating a 'connection' control command on a control bus 30. Consequently a signal route 26 between the sending device 20 and the destination device 26 can be simply set up without generating an error only by recording a local mutual connection table in each device.
