摘要

PURPOSE:To detect correctly the volume of hydrogen occluded in each container without causing an error in the lapse of time by detecting the internal resistance of a hydrogen occluding alloy packed into the space between electrodes in the body of the container. CONSTITUTION:When an electric current is supplied between both terminals 13 of each hydrogen occluding container 7 through a hydrogen occluding alloy 17, the alloy 17 in the space between electrodes 10 generates heat by its high internal resistance. By the heat generation the alloy 17 releases hydrogen vigorously in a short time. A detecting wire 25 for detecting resistance value is connected to the ungrounded terminal 13 of the container 7 to detect the electric resistance value between both electrodes 10 of the container 7. The volume of hydrogen occluded in the alloy 17 is obtd. from the detected value. When the volume of hydrogen occluded in the alloy 17 is reduced to a prescribed value or less, control switches SW1-SW4 for the containers 7 are controlled to a noncontact state.
