METHOD FOR PROCESSING INFORMATION IN PROGRESSIVE DIE DESIGN

PURPOSE:To automatize a progressive die design, to prevent any design error and to reduce labor by constituting to enable data correction of parts drawing by changing attribute data by an interactive mode to automatize the progressive die design. CONSTITUTION:A graphic process function module group 4 performs preparation of a graphic definition, graphic conversion, set operation, and development. An attribute process function module group 5 performs an attribute definition, attribute conversion, and attribute reference. The atrribute definition defines attribute data of parts and registers them in an attribute data.file 2. A language input processor 8 inputs the language describing product information, prepares graphic data and displays a blank.layout drawing on a graphic.display 15. A die designer determines working positions and contents on the die plate while viewing this blank.layout figure and prepares a core graphic by means of the interactive mode by a strip.layout processor 9.
