PURPOSE:To form the number of signal lines into one piece and make the wiring simplifiable, by converting the travel of a first cutter per unit time into series data, and making it so as to be transmitted to an error register at the side of a second cutter. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 1 at the side of a first cutter 12 finds the travel of a machine movable part at each specified time (t), adding this value to a parallel converter 5, and a work W1 is machined. Next, when a processor 21 at the side of a second cutter 29 reads the travel -Lx, -Ly and -Lz in X-, Y- and Z-axis directions of the machine movable part to be added via a series-parallel converter 22, these values are added to each of error registers 24X-24Z, whereby such a voltage as corresponding to a difference between the travel -Lx, -Ly and -Lz and the pulse number of a feedback pulse out of position detectors 27X-27Z is outputted from these registers 24X-24Z, and the cutter 29 and a work W2 are relatively moved, thus this work W2 is machined in the same form as a model M. Thus, signal lines connection both these first and second cutters 12 and 29 can be formed into one piece, making the wiring simplifiable.
