PURPOSE:To prevent separation of sound and to allow a viewer to listen to the sound as if it were sounded form the mouth of a person reproduced as a video image on the screen by locating the acoustic radiation face center of a tweeter lower than the acoustic radiation face center of a woofer and locating the acoustic radiation face center of a high pitched tone lower than the vertical center of the cathode ray tube. CONSTITUTION:An ultrahigh pitched sound speaker 3 is provided aside a woofer 2. Thus, the sound sources are as if being in the same height as the audible psychology. Moreover, as to an audio signal having a frequency of 5-10kHz reproduced by a tweeter 1 provided under the woofer 2, the sound source is located as if being at the same height as the woofer from the listening sense. Thus, as a result, since the sound sources are concentrated on the same height as to all audio bands, separation of sound is avoided and the articulation of voice is improved.
