PURPOSE:To confirm the loss of a checkbook or the issue of a check due to the third person, by reading the number of the check to be issued next and the balance after the issue of the check when the check is issued. CONSTITUTION:The system of a computer exclude for checkbooks consists of a unit 1 consisting of an LSI for operation, storage, and control, a key unit 2, and a display unit 3. The amount of money deposited in a deposit account for checks is entered to this sytem through the unit 2. The smallest check number of the checkbook which the user has is set. When a check for a prescribed amount of money is issued, the next check number and the balance after the issue of the check are displayed on the unit 3. Hereafter, similar operations are repeated.
