PURPOSE:To prevent stain of various rollers, offset or the like for giving luster and blocking resistance, by a method wherein a coating agent consisting of a specific water dispersion resin composition is applied to the printing surface and heated for forming a continuous film. CONSTITUTION:When a printing surface after printing process it to be coated in a continuous or discontinuous state, a water dispersion resin composition, which does not form a continuous film in the coated state but forms the continuous film by heating, is used as an coating agent to be applied and then heated in the continuous or discontinuous state for forming a continuous film of the coating agent. In said coating agent, when water dispersion resins are manufactured by emulsifying and polymerizing vinylmonomer and such, the minimum film-making temperature (best suitably 40-150 deg.C) can be regulated by setting the polymerization ratio with the other vinylmonomer as occasion demands considering a glass transition point of a homopolymer of a vinylmonomer to be used.
