SOLAR HEAT COLLECTOR FRAME AND MOUNTING STRUCTURE THEREOF ON ROOF SURFACE

PURPOSE:To facilitate the mounting of the solar heat collector in tilted roof or the like by a stracture wherein flanges are respectively extended outward from the four quarters of a box-shape solar heat collector frame main body and flashing parts are integrally formed onto the flanges extended toward upper side and right and left sides except lower side with respect to the slope of the roof surface. CONSTITUTION:Battens 2 are nailed on rafters 1 and pantiles 4... are tiled over the battens through water-proof paper 3. In order to install the solar heat collector 5 on the roof tiled as just mentioned above, the tiles 4... within the demain on the roof corresponding to the mounting bottom area of the collector 5 are removed and, after that, the collector frame 6 is put on fixedly over said tile-removed demain. The frame 6 is a box comprising the upper and lower side walls 46 and 47, the left and right side walls 48 and 49 with respect to the roof slope and a bottom plate 12. The flanges 50-53 are extended normal to the respective side walls from the lower end part of each side wall. The flashing parts 55, 58 and 59, each of which has a L-shape section parallel to its longitudinal direction, are respectively provided on the flanges 50, 52 and 53. Each eave tile or wing tile 35 is tiled over so that the drop part 36 of the eaves tile or clay rooftile 35 is positioned inside said flashing parts 55, 58 and 59 respectively.
