PURPOSE:To prevent damage to a bucket elevator or a sieving equipment, and to minimize a pit for treating solid discharge placed under a screw conveyer for discharging, by providing a sieving equipment for removing incombustible residue left in fluidizing medium and a returning mechanism for returning fluidizing medium separated by a sieving equipment to a thermal reaction furnace. CONSTITUTION:A delivery opening 57b of a cylindrical sieve 57 is arranged to discharge such incombustible residue that does not pass through holes or meshes of said cylindrical sieve 57. Those incombustible residue small enough in size to pass through the holes of the cylindrical sieve 57 passes through said holes to be sent to a shoot 58. Fluidizing medium accompanying incombustible residue of relatively small size is sent, in the direction of A1, from the shoot 58 toward a receiving part 61 of a lifter 60, which serves as a lifting means for a bucket elevator etc. The mixture of the recovered fluidizing medium and the incombustible residue of small size received by the receiving part 61 is lifted up to an upper delivery opening 62 of the lifter 60, where said mixture is discharged, in the direction of A2, to a fine sieve 63 serving as a sieving means.
