PURPOSE:To ensure a simple and assured reducing/magnifying copy, by using the III-V group semiconductor arrays for both a photodetector and a light emitting element. CONSTITUTION:The reflected light caused by an irradiation of the light emitting source 2 according to the image of the subject 1 is detected by the light emitting element line sensor 3 formed with the III-V group compound semiconductor arrays. This detection signal is amplified to be applied to the corresponding III-V group compound semiconductor arrays, and the array is turned into the LED array 9. Thus a reduced piture or the like is formed on the film 10 and the like opposed to the array 9. Thus a reducing or magifying copy is made possible in a simple and assured way without giving any reducing or magnifying projection using a lens.
