PURPOSE:To grind a diamond carbide tool stock with good efficiency by utilizing the chemical reaction of Fe and C by matching to machine grinding. CONSTITUTION:The diamond carbide tool stock 1 fitted to a drill, etc. by brazing the composite material fitting a diamond particle to a carbide(WC) is ground in the necessary shape and dimension at its outer diameter, etc., by the grinding wheel 4 fixing numerous diamond abrasive grains 2 by an iron made bond 3. Consequently, the carbide body of the diamond carbide tool stock 1 can be subjected to grinding with good efficiency by the diamond abrasive grains 2 of the grinding wheel 4.
