PURPOSE:To provide a flow rate regulating valve which makes the flow rate of working fluid accurately and quickly adjustable by providing a groove on the outside circumference of a valve spool provided in a manihold, and communicating the chamber on the preceding end side of the valve spool and the communicating hole of the manifold properly. CONSTITUTION:In a flow rate regulating valve 3 provided with a valve spool 31 freely slidably in a monihold 29, an annular groove 31 communicating with the chamber 30a on the preceding end side of the spool 31 and a communicating hole 31a is provided on the outside circumference in the mid-way in the axial line direction of the spool 31, whereby the communicating and interrupting positions between said chamber 30a and the passage hole 33 for working fluid of the manihold 29 are formed in =2 positions in the axial line direction of the spool 31. The operation of the spool 31 is accomplished by transmission of the driving force of a pulse motor 6 operated by the command for injection through a shaft 13, gears 14, 18, a shaft 17, a ball screw part 17a, a nut 19 and a valve shaft 28. The communicating areas between the holes 33, 34 and the chamber 30a, the groove 32 are changed by controlling the position of the spool 31 according to injection speeds, whereby the flow of the working fluid is regulated.
