PRODUCTION OF STRETCHABLE EMBROIDERED LACE HAVING HIGH FLATNESS

PURPOSE:To obtain a stretchable embroidered lace having high flatness by aligning a stretchable elastic yarn and a water-soluble fiber yarn, covering the aligned yarn with a water-insoluble fiber yarn, embroidering a stretchable lace base cloth with the obtained covered yarn and dissolving and removing the water-soluble fiber yarn. CONSTITUTION:A stretchable elastic fiber yarn such as urethane elastomer yarn and a water-soluble fiber yarn such as polyvinyl alcohol fiber are aligned and then covered with a water-insoluble fiber while keeping the original dimension of the aligned yarn without drafting. A stretchable lace base cloth is embroidered with the obtained embroidering sewing thread and the water-soluble fiber yarn is dissolved and removed from the embroidered lace to prevent the generation of crease and unevenness of the cloth caused by the shrinkage. The above embroidering sewing thread may be a yarn produced by covering a yarn having stretch elasticity with a water-insoluble yarn, aligning the covered yarn together with a water-soluble fiber yarn and covering with a water-soluble fiber yarn.
