PURPOSE:A pressure-sensitive adhesive tape having improved adhesion characteristics and second release properties, consisting of a tape substrate and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer comprising thermoplastic synthetic rubber as a main component, having extremely small foams. CONSTITUTION:A pressure-sensitive adhesive substance comprising thermoplastic synthetic resin (e.g., styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer rubber) as a main component, containing a blowing agent of thermal decomposition type such as nitroso compound, azo compound, etc. is extruded at a temperature = the decomposition temperature of the blowing agent in a molten state and applied to a tape substrate consisting of a liquid absorbing base material such as paper, nonwoven fabric, fabric, porous film, etc. containing water or an organic solvent, etc., to give the desired pressure-sensitive tape. An amount of the blowing agent is preferably 0.1-10pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. pressure-sensitive adhesive substance.
