PURPOSE:To reliably close a space between a partition and the wall of a trench hole, by a method wherein concrete leak preventing plates are pivotally secured to ends across a longitudinally-extended partition serving to partition the end of a unit wall, and the leak preventing plates are energized by energizing members in a direction in which they are unfolded from each other. CONSTITUTION:Concrete leak preventing plates 6a and 6b are pivotally secured to ends across a longitudinally-extended partition 1, installed when an underground continuous wall is built, by means of pins 10, and springs 11 are situated between the leak preventing plates 6a and 6b and the partition 1. Pin insertion ports 12 attached to the leak preventing plates 6a and 6b are positioned concentrically with pin insertion ports 13 attached to the partition 1 to insert a pin 14 thereinto, and with this, the assembly is inserted in an excavated trench hole 15. Thereafter, when the pin 14 is pulled off, the leak preventing plates 6a and 6b are unfolded through the energizing force of the spring 11 to reliably close between the partition 1 and the wall surface of the trench hole 15.
