摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled adhesive having excellent water resistance, etc., by blending a tackifying resin with a mixture contg. a crosslinkable monomer, (meth)acrylate, etc. and carrying out a polymn. reaction while continuously adding the mixture to a polymn. medium contg. water, an emulsifier and a polymn. catalyst. CONSTITUTION:A crosslinkable monomer such as acrylamide or maleic acid, a (meth)acrylate such as ethyl acrylate and optionally another copolymerizable monomer such as vinyl acetate are mixed together. A tackifying resin such as terpene resin is dissolved or dispersed in the above mixture. Then a polymn. reaction is carried out while continuously adding the resultant blend or an emulsified blend obtd. by dispersing said blend in water contg. an emulsifier, to a polymn. medium contg. water, an emulsifier and a polymn. catalyst, thus obtaining the desired water-resistant copolymer emulsion adhesive.
