DRAWING WORK OF STEEL MEMBER FOR SHEATHING

PURPOSE:To reduce the drawing cost of steel members for sheathing by a method in which a steel material covered with a card board whose outer surface is subjected to a water repellency treatment is driven into a pit and buried in concrete not hardened, and the steel member is drawn out of the concrete for recovery. CONSTITUTION:A first core member 18 shaped into a corrugate form of a comparatively small amplitude and a second core member 20 shaped into a corrugate form of an amplitude larger than that of the first core member 18 are held in a sandwich form by three kraft flat papers 22a, 22b and 22c, and paraffin, etc., is coated on the outer surface of the kraft paper 22a of the laminate member to form a water-repellent sheeted card board 24. A steel member 16 is covered with the card board 24 by turning its kraft paper 22c inwards and fixed. The steel member 16 is buried in a pit 12 into which concrete 14 is placed, and after the concrete 14 hardens, the steel member 16 is drawn out for recovery.
