In order to provide an angle-measuring gauge with an electronic digital display instead of a vernier scale, each part (6 and 10, or 8) of the capacitative element of a gauge is rigidly connected to one of the legs (1, 3). Because the parts of this capacitative element must not touch each other when the legs (1, 3) of the gauge are pressed together, a clamping piece (20) must be provided to form a mechanical joint between the two legs (1, 3) by means of central openings (6a, 10a, 21a-c) in these parts, when the legs are blocked in their position relative to each other by tightening a locking nut (4) on a central axis (17). Movement of the screen (8) located between the electrode disks (6, 10) arranged at a predetermined distance from each other, and of the stationary leg, can thereby be prevented when the electrode disks (6, 10), together with the rotatable leg (3), rotate about the axis of rotation (A) of the gauge. A electronic evaluator (19) and a digital display permit digital read out of the angle formed between the legs.
