PURPOSE:To perform processing at a high speed by executing first a succeeding instruction if this instruction is not an object of storage to an instruction buffer and has no causes of waiting. CONSTITUTION:An information processor consists of a main memory 1, an instruction prefetching circuit 2, a program register group 3, and plural executing circuits 4-7. The instruction prefetching circuit 2 reads out instruction words successively from the main memory 1 through a transfer bus 101 and executes required processings and sends required information to the program register group 3 and executing circuits 4-7 to execute instructions. If a succeeding instruction is not an object of storage to the program register group 3 and has no causes of waiting, the instruction prefetching circuit 2 executes first the succeeding instruction.
